The Story of MIREA YANA

Derived from my own name, Maria Diana, MIREA YANA (mih-RAY-ah YAH-na) began with a simple intention: to create thoughtfully crafted pieces shaped by refinement, beauty, and care.

What started with silk accessories gradually evolved into something broader — a reflection of the ideas, values, and curiosities that continue to shape my life.

At its heart, MIREA YANA is rooted in an appreciation for craftsmanship, intentional living, and the quieter details that enrich everyday experience. It is a space where elegance and intellect coexist; where beauty is valued not only for how it appears, but for the meaning, history, and culture it carries.

As my academic interests developed around luxury, material culture, political economy, and symbolic power, I found myself increasingly drawn to the relationship between objects and ideas — how design, aesthetics, and material life shape the way we experience the world.

MIREA YANA became a house through which that curiosity could be expressed.
